We have analyzed nearly 75 Late Triassic metoposaur individuals from various parts of the
                world including India. A new method of comparing skull outlines of metoposaurs has been
                worked out. A new species of Early Triassic trematosaur has been recognized with the help
                of this method. One paper has been published on morphometry of the metoposaurs -

                A growth series of from several individuals of the chigutisaurs of the Late Triassic Maleri
                Formation of Pranhita Godavari Valley has been identified.


                Over and above a complete picture of Triassic temnospondyls of India, has been attempted
                from total 12 taxa identified from India including 3 new combinations and 1 new taxon.

                A MOU has been signed by ISI and GSI  on “Micro- and mega- vertebrate and
                palynological studies of panchet formation, damodar valley basin, india.” Morphometry is a
                major part of this project.
