Comments from reviewer: To expedite the research work of GSU faculties and students one
of the reviewer suggested that "It is very important now-a-days to develop indigenous
capability in advanced analytical techniques, such as, SEM, XRD, XRF, ICP-MS, EPMA etc
in order to reduce our dependence on foreign collaboration in interdisciplinary natural science
research. We have several national facilities now in India; we perhaps need more, particularly
for training and capacity building of our next generation. GSU, ISI being very well focused
and leading geosciences research centre of our country, in my opinion, may explore to develop
such facility in stages for the coming generation."
