The Principles of Teaching pathway offers a sequence of courses that provide coherent
and rigorous content needed to prepare students for further education and careers in
education and training. Select schools offer the Urban Teacher Academy Program (UTAP)
which provides rigorous curriculum with extensive field experience to prepare highly
qualified candidates to enter the teaching profession in Broward County urban schools.
