uring a House meeting class, I was pleasantly surprised when
House Celeb R a T ions our House teacher told me that I would be conducting a
morning assembly. I had participated in House assemblies
Dbefore too but conducting one was a new thing. We began
the assembly with a prayer of thanks to the Allmighty. I then invited
the birthday children on stage and everyone wished them by singing
the happy birthday song. Some members of Sarojini Naidu House
showcased their talent by performing in the talent round. The assembly
was theme based on the Pakistani activist for female education and
the youngest ever Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai. Facts about Malala
Yousafzai’s inspiring life story were shared with the audience. I also
spoke on the topic of the day. I am sure everyone present in the
hall felt motivated by the young brave heart who stood up against
injustice to fight for girl education. A few girls, dressed up as Malala,
came on stage and shared thought provoking ideas about the cause
supported by her. Later, I got a pat on my back from my teachers for
being a confident orator. I felt happy and proud. It was really a great
experience.

t is indeed a wonderful experience for parents to see their
child on stage in front of an audience. This time, my daughter
sarojini naidu Irespect can only be earned and not forced. Though I had heard
Dhanvi narrated a moral story which carried the message that
House her narrating the same story many times but when I listened to
her on stage, I felt I was hearing it for the first time! She had the
right expressions and her Housemaster appreciated her performance.
Sarojini Naidu House organized an assembly on another great
quality of life i.e. ‘sharing’. Dhanvi participated in this assembly n eqlyekuksa dk çeq[k R;ksgkj gSA bl R;ksgkj
too and spoke about the importance of sharing success as well as pain
