5 e celebrate 5 September as Dr. Radhakrishnan’s birthday in our school.
September is observed as Teachers’ Day all over India. At RSJMS, we celebrate
this day as the birthday of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan as well as that of the founder
On this day, we also show our love and respect to our founder Lala
of our school, Shri Lala Raghubir Singh. I participated in the Teachers’ Day
Raghubir Singh ji, as this school was his vision. I took part in the
Celebration this year. The function started with a presentation about the life
and achievements of both the great personalities. After this informative presentation, WTeachers’ Day programme as a singer and cheerleader. We had worked
very hard to put a great show. Finally, the day came I was very nervous but excited
we sang a group song dedicated to our teachers. Our Housemasters added a fun too. We had practised a lot to sing the song properly. My House mates participated
element to the programme by placing all the teachers into different teams. Each team in the presentation. Finally, the assembly turned out to be a success. The efforts put
had its own cheerleaders too! The teachers sang and danced to music which everyone in by all the participants and the Housemasters paid off. It was great fun to see the
enjoyed a lot. The best part was that the Headmistress herself joined us on the stage. teachers dancing on the stage. I would love to participate in such an assembly again!
The show ended with a huge round of applause.
