High & Extra High Voltage Power Cables
Operating Voltage from 38 / 66 KV up to Designation Code for High & Extra High
127 / 220 KV Cable Construction Voltage Power CablesYou can order
our product by giving the following
1. Conductor informations
Conductor consists of stranded Aluminum or soft 1- cable codes as per the catalogue
drawn copper that produced by two technologies: 2- if your requirements is out of our
catalogue product range, you can use the
a. Circular Compacted following map to identify the code
Multi layers of stranded wires are assembled Conductor Material Outer
together to form a circular compacted conductor Sheathing Type

4. Insulation Screen (Bonded to the A 38/66 (72.5) KV
outer layer of the insulation layer) B 64/115 (123) KV
C 76/132 (145) KV
An extruded layer of cross linkable semi conducting D 87/150 (170) KV
is applied over the insulation layer to insure that the E 127/220 (245) KV
electric stress is homogenous around the insulated
core. No. of Cores
Conductor screen, insulation and insulation
screen are applied in one process (triple extrusion 01 1
process) to insure that all extruded layers are
bonded together.
5. Metallic Screen / Sheath
One or multi layers of metallic screen / sheath
such as copper wires, lead, aluminum, etc.shall
be applied as a return path of earth fault current.
Metallic sheaths may be used for water blocking
protection and mechanical protection.
6. Water blocking:
Upon request, swelling powder should be applied
between the conductor strands then Followed by
swelling semi conductive water blocking tape over
the complete conductor
7. Overall Jacket (Outer Sheath)
An extruded layer of PVC, PE (HDPE, LDPE, and
MDPE) shall be applied over the metallic
layers for protection against chemical reaction &
mechanical protection.Extruded semi conductive
layer or graphite coating shall be applied over the
outer sheath for D.C testing purpose
