Econoboard Rigid Insulation Board

Rigid insulation boards are designed to
provide thermal insulation and cushioning.
Loose lay in a staggered brick work pattern
and tape together if required.

To be left as a floating layer in a floating
floor build up below Thermofoil PRO.
Not suitable for under tile heating.

Available in 5mm thick boards.
Board size 1.2 x 0.5m.

Every Thermofoil PRO installation should include a layer of Rigid Insulation Board (5400) under
6 Timber Substrate
the heating element. This layer acts as a 5mm cushion under the heating element to protect it
from any damage that could be caused by moving over the substrate. The insulation board also
acts as an insulation barrier, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the underfloor heating.
