My time at DoggieRescue has taught me so much about dogs,
I’ve learnt to read their body language to watch for signs they
are stressed and how to respond to them. I’ve loved learning so
much from Monika and the kennel hands at the shelter.
Funnily enough the most important lessons Monika has taught
me over the years are about people. To watch what they say
when they’re not saying much, to trust how the animals respond
to a person. If a dog doesn’t like a person, the dog is usually
right.

have given me the skills I need to take the next step
in my journey and I wouldn’t be able to do this if it Some special volunteers like Monique,

my mind about cats! I was never a cat fan
