IN THE MEET KHALEESI : Khaleesi is a li le deaf Staffy
SPOTLIGHT cross and one of the longer term dogs at the
shelter. We asked three of Khaleesi’s friends to
tell us what they love about her and to send her
a special Christmas wish.

How nice is it when you arrive home after a day at work and your
pets are happy and excited to see you? That's the reaction you
get from Khaleesi every single time she sees you. Her little happy
face watches expectantly at the fence if you walk by, waiting for
you to come in her direction. Tail wagging at a thousand wags
per second, hopping from one paw to the other impatiently. Then
when it's finally her turn, you need to prepare for all of staffy love
and licks you can imagine. She has so much love to give - in
exchange for hugs and treats of course. Khaleesi is super smart
too, she knows exactly the same spot to stop, sit and ask for a
treat when we're out walking - just because we stopped there
once, now she knows it every time as 'the treat place'!

“If I could have one Christmas wish for Khaleesi it is that
someone would find the me and pa ence to get to
know her so she can have a home all of her own. But in
the mean me, if Santa could bring some indestruc ble
toys for her to chew on, that would also be great!” Nat
