BANDIT’S CANTINA BAD JOKE LIBRARY-- Little Bruce & Jen are, but they know they are in love. One day they
decide that they want to get married, so Bruce goes to Jenny's father to ask for her hand. Bruce walks up to him &
says, "Mr. Smith, me & Jen are in love & I want to ask you for her hand in marriage." Thinking this was the cutest thing,
He replies, "Well, Bruce, you are 10. Where will you 2 live?" Without thinking about it, Bruce replies, "In Jen's room.
It's bigger than mine & we can both fit there." Mr. Smith says with a grin, "Okay, then how will you live? You're not old
enough to get a job. You'll need to support Jenny." Bruce replies. "Our allowance, Jenny makes $5 a week & I make
$10 a week. That's about $60 a month, so that should do us just fine." Mr. Smith is impressed Bruce has put so much
thought into this. "Well, Bruce, it seems like you have everything figured out. I just have one more question. What will
you do if you should have children?" Bruce shrugs & says, "Well, we've been lucky so far." Mr. Smith no longer thinks
the little shit is adorable. --Wayfarer Certified Librarian Bandit’s Cantina Bad Joke Library
A man took a cup of water & put it in the microwave to heat it, something he had done many times, he wanted to bring
the water to a boil for his coffee. The timer stopped, he removed the cup from the oven. As he looked into the cup, he
noted that the water was not boiling, suddenly the water in the cup 'blew up' into his face, due to the build-up of energy
. His face was blistered & he had 1st degree burns to his face. While at the hospital, the doc who was attending to
him stated that this is a fairly common occurrence & water alone should never be heated in a microwave, something
should be placed in the cup to diffuse the energy such as a wooden stir stick, tea bag, etc, (nothing metal). General
Electric's Response: Thanks for contacting us; The e-mail that you received is correct. Microwaved water & other
liquids do not always bubble when they reach boiling point. They can actually get superheated & not bubble at all. The
superheated liquid will bubble up out of the cup when it is moved or when something like a spoon or tea bag is put into
it. To prevent this from happening & causing injury, do not heat any liquid for more than two minutes per cup. After
heating, let the cup stand in the microwave for thirty seconds before moving it or adding anything into it.
