4. Using your ruler, draw a horizontal line between
A and B. Label the intersection of this line with
the vertical diameter C.
5. The distance between A and C is the side length
of your heptagon. Adjust the compasses very
accurately with the point on A and the pencil on
C.
6. Place the compass point on the circumference
close to the south point on the second circle and
draw an intersection arc with the circumference
on the left side.
7. Place the compass point very accurately on this
intersection and draw another intersection
further along the circumference.
8. Repeat step 7 until you arrive back at the south
point.
