914 cars were impounded by the Car smart impounding system at Ajman Police
The Traffic and Patrols Department of the Ajman Police General Headquarters
impounded 914 violating vehicles by the Car Smart Impounding service since the
system was launched in early July until now, amid increasing demand, praise and
satisfaction from customers due to the ease and effectiveness of the service.
Since the launch of the Car Smart Impounding system, the service has witnessed
an increasing demand from the public to impound their violating vehicles in their
private parking lots instead of car seizure networks, which allows them to take care
of the cars during the impound lot period and protect them from being affected by
weather conditions, knowing that they are allowed to operate and move them within
thirty meters of the impound lot.
Promoting the value of tolerance with the “A Day without Violations” initiative
As the world celebrates the International Day for Tolerance and as a continuation
of the series of national initiatives that affirm that the UAE appreciates tolerance,
the Ajman Police General Headquarter launched the “Day without Violations”
initiative to promote the value of tolerance and support the achievement of traffic
safety, Which comes within a series of its awareness-raising initiatives to raise the
awareness of the public about the importance of taking traffic safety precautions
and avoiding committing violations in order to achieve the Ministry of Interior’s
strategic objective of enhancing road security.
The initiative is to educate the public, customers and violators and motivate them
to avoid committing traffic violations, as patrol officers stop violators and instead
of investigating the violation, advice and awareness are provided.
Launching an awareness campaign entitled
“Safe Driving during Rainfall”
As part of its continuous efforts to achieve the Ministry of Interior’s strategic objective of
enhancing road security, the Ajman Police General Headquarter launched an awareness
campaign entitled “Safe Driving during Rainfall” to raise the drivers’ awareness about
the importance of being cautious during rain.
His Excellency Brigadier General Khaled Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, Deputy Director
General of Police Operations, said that the campaign aims to aware and alert drivers of
the need to be cautious during rains and weather fluctuations at the beginning of the
winter season and the unstable weather that the country is currently witnessing such
as heavy rain, strong winds and sandstorms laden with dust and dense fog which would
affect the driver’s control of the vehicle.
The Deputy Director General of Police Operations called on drivers and road users to be
cautious during the period of weather fluctuations that confuse movement on the road,
such as slipping, low visibility and water flow in valleys stressing the need to stay away
from valleys and places where water collects to ensure their safety.
