Congratulations to Dr. Zach Liederman for achieving a Teaching Award
of Excellence at the University of Toronto. This award recognizes those
that have attained Teaching Evaluation Scores in the top 10% in one or
more of the teaching activities to which they have contributed.
Congratulations to Dr. Helena Dhamko for receiving the Wight-
man-Berris Academy Individual Teaching Excellence Award in the
Undergraduate category for 2021-2022. This is a prestigious honour that
celebrates the impact Dr. Dhamko has had on learners.
The DMOH Education Executive would like to thank Dr. Penny Bradbury
for her role as the Associate Director of the Solid Tumour Fellowship
Program over the last 5 years.
Staff Professional Development
Congratulations to Dr. Robert Grant for passing his thesis defense at
the Institute for Medical Sciences, University of Toronto. His thesis title
is “Warning Systems for Undesirable Events During Cancer Treatment:
Applying Machine Learning to Administrative Data”.
Congratulations to Dr. Aniket Bankar for passing his defense and
receiving his MSc degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services
Research from the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evalua-
tion at the University of Toronto.
Congratulations to Dr. Richard Ward for making it on the Dean’s list and
being a Bregman Scholar in Rotman’s Global Executive MBA for Health-
care and the Life Sciences at the University of Toronto.
