unquestionably bring untold spiritual blessings, a new
and revitalized meaning and purpose to one’s life, and will
provide a constant source of love, bliss, peace, and ex-
panded awareness.
the spiritual method employed on the Masterpath to
gather the scattered sensory currents from the body con-
sciousness and draw them back into the third eye is called
contemplation, which is natural, easy, spontaneous, and can
be performed at any time. contemplation is far superior to
the method of prayer, for prayer simply invokes the divine
mind within the individual and creates the illusion that one
has a personal relationship with God. In truth, an indi-
vidual’s prayer can only elicit a response from lord brahm,
the ruler of the lower realms of the creation, and brahm
cares only for the mind, neglecting the soul entirely.
When comparing the practice of contemplation with
meditation, several distinctions between the two methods
clearly stand out. Meditation strives to still the mind com-
pletely, while contemplation allows for an interrelationship
with the mind. Meditation requires one to employ rigid
self-control with an admixture of force and pointed exer-
tion of the personal will, while contemplation allows one
to relaxedly ponder and muse over a selected spiritual
subject or truth. to achieve noticeable results in meditation
requires two or three hours of daily practice in total seclu-
sion, while in contrast, contemplation can be successfully
performed in twenty to thirty minutes. not everyone is
able to assume the correct posture in meditation, but in the
performance of contemplation, any comfortable position
will suffice. And meditation strives to invoke transcendental
visions, while contemplation centers solely upon the expan-
sion of consciousness and enlargement of one’s own inner
