You Alone Are the object of Your SeArch

to the Saints and Masters, any spiritual observance that
does not arouse or resurrect the soul has little spiritual
            import or appreciative value.
for a student of Masterpath, the majority of one’s en-
ergy will not be applied to invoke God’s attention, mercy,
or good grace, but to adjust to the power flows and gifts
one is already receiving. time should not be wasted in
calling out to God, but should be given to actually living
the life of God. the religious or metaphysical mind is
unable to do this, for only the soul can pattern itself after
God. the mind is restricted to merely imitating or parrot-
ing God’s divinity, but the soul was created in God’s divine
image, and so the clarion call to be as perfect as one’s cre-
ator in heaven can only be successfully achieved through
            the innate divinity of soul.
the mental and intellectual senses of humankind
were never intended to replace the spiritual senses of soul,
and in truth, they are not capable of doing so. the three-
tiered complex of the mind was initially created to assist
the soul in the lower three regions, i.e., the physical, astral,
and causal/mental planes, but the intent was never for the
mind to take on the responsibilities reserved only for the
soul. humankind’s spiritual heartaches, its spiritual bar-
riers, and its spiritual bankruptcy are simply due to the
mind’s attempts to act in the capacity of the soul.
the mind has not been properly equipped to live the
spiritual life, but if the soul is not presently awake, the mind
is forced to fill in. In the soul’s absence, the personality
is given birth, which has a litany of attending powers
to support it. the personality mistakenly believes itself to
be the real and true self, and it has a difficult time grasping
and understanding what the Master means when he states
that one must realize the true self, for the personality as-
sumes it already knows who it is. the personality, through
