Soul Food Kitchen
Based in the heart of Glasgow, this 100 per cent plant-based
restaurant has health and wellbeing at its core. Whether it's
brunch or dinner you go for, all of Soul Food Kitchen’s meals
are nutritious and delicious, using organic ingredients where
possible, always sourced from local businesses. On top of
this, the establishment have been working to ensure that
all of their packaging is fully-compostable. Tasty starters
include the blueberry and walnut pâté, vegan haggis bon
bons served with a creamy peppercorn sauce, and a soul
food meze — complete with roasted garlic houmous, baba
ghanoush, olives, fresh salad and flatbreads, sourdough,
crackers and crudités. For your main dish, indulge in options
like the jackfruit goulash — a warming stew with jackfruit,
butterbeans, carrots, potatoes and peppers, served with
mash and cabbage, or the kimchi bowl, with homemade
kimchi, grilled tofu, soba noodles, a sesame stir fry of pak
choi and broccoli, and raw kimchi crackers.
