“Over the last 10 years, the
concept of luxury has moved
away from established brands
and more toward bespoke
items. The luxury consumer is
less interested in “collecting
things” and is instead looking to
own pieces which are unique,”
explains Ambrita Shahani-
Tuckwell. A case in point is The
Pressed Flower collection, a
collaboration between Ambrita
and Rooshad, where they
incorporated flowers from the
clients wedding. “It meant that
we could preserve this unique
aspect from their special day.”
says Ambrita. And really, that is
what luxury is all about. Being
able to own something that is
unique to you.
