The thing to remember always is to consistently keep with one style or then

be totally eclectic — use variants only with complete conviction about the

look you are trying to achieve.

Interesting corners or a window seats, nooks
by the wall for the dining table and chairs add to
the sense of informal cosiness. The dimensions
would of course be dictated by the size of the room.
The trick is to create a multi-functional
space, a family room to ‘hang out’, a private place
to meditate and relax, a music room, the card
room, playroom and leisure activities. The entire

family, including pets, could stake a claim and
feel comfortable. A place that should reflect the
personality of your family informally. Comfort and
