                     Having broken through Ireton’s
                     cavalry but unable to move freely
                     against the Roundhead infantry, the
                     Royalist cavalry leaves the main
                     battle to attack the baggage train,
                     wheretheymeetstiffresistance.

                                                                                                      the tiring Royalist infantry
                                                                                                      back. They’re supported by
                                                                                                      Cromwell’s cavalry, which
                                                                                                      engages the Royalist left,
                                                                                                      and by the survivors of
                                                                                                      Ireton’s troops, who assail the
                                                                                                      Royalist right.
