IN 1986, the soviet union launched      on february 23, 1997, after
                                           the research space station mir.         a decade in space, things started
                                           overcrowding was sometimes              to go horRibly wrong on mir

       STARTED TO DRIFT OfF COURSE       THE RETROROCKETS FAILED,
       AFTER A COMPUTER CABLE GOT        AND THEIR CAPSULE LANDED
       AcCIDENTAlLY DISCOnNECTED.        WITH A BONE-JArRING THUMP.
