HIDDEN GEM
Stairway to
Heaven
Although permanently
locked, it is worth seeing
the final Kokamon Gate,
which leads to Iemitsu’s
ashes. The staircase
Niomon Gate winds behind this
Chinese-style gate into
towering cedar trees.
