        Canada’s largest museum, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) covers
        the history of human civilization and the natural world in a collection
        of over six million extraordinary objects.

        With an ultra-modern glass, aluminum,
        and steel addition bursting out of the
        original Edwardian edifice, the ROM is
        instantly recognizable. The most visited
        museum in the country, it houses an
        extraordinarily wide-ranging collection
        drawn from the fields of fine and applied
        art, the natural sciences and archaeology.
        World Cultures
        Items from all around the world, dating back
        as far as the Stone Age, are on display in
        various galleries here, including art, weaponry,   Michael Lee-Chin Crystal addition to the
        religious artifacts, and textiles. Don’t miss the   original Edwardian ROM building
        shrunken head from Peru, or the Canadiana
        gallery, full of First Nations art. Cultural
        artifacts from China, Korea, and Japan are

        Natural History
        The Natural History galleries contain collections
        of the natural world, from outer space objects
        to skeletons of long-extinct creatures.
        Highlights include sparkling meteorites,
        towering dinosaur skeletons and even an
        immersive replica of a bat cave. Many exhibits
        are hands-on, with visitors allowed to touch   Species at Risk display in the
