CN TOWER

Visible from almost anywhere in the city, Toronto’s iconic CN Tower is
a marvel of 1970s engineering. Originally built as a communications
tower, it is now the top tourist attraction in the city. From the
viewing levels you can see as far as Niagara Falls on a clear day.
Rocket upwards in under a minute in one
of six glass-fronted outside elevators to the
LookOut, the most popular level, located
at 1,136 ft (346 m). With floor-to-ceiling
panoramic windows and a glass floor, it offers
visitors the chance to observe the city’s main
landmarks and Lake Ontario below. SkyPod
One level down from the LookOut is the
Glass Floor, where you can stand, sit, and even
jump on reinforced glass and look down at the
ground 1,122 ft (342 m) below. Also on this
level is the Outdoor SkyTerrace.
Reached by its own elevator, the SkyPod is
the highest accessible point on the tower at The spectacular
1,467 ft (447 m) above the city. For a special viewing levels
experience, get here in time to watch the sun of the CN Tower
set over the city from above.

For thrill-seekers only, this tower attraction is
the world’s highest full circle hands-free walk.
It takes place on a 5-ft- (1.5-m-) wide ledge
that encircles the top of the tower’s main pod.
