Insider spoke to authors Delilah S.

to find out more about the books, and

What secrets lurk beneath that chrome
helmet? Phasma reveals all...
What can you tell us about
the plot of Phasma?
We get to see a little slice of life
on a First Order Star Destroyer:
specifically, a torture chamber.
The ensuing interrogation
introduces a new planet and
follows Phasma’s rise to power
and the creation of her unique
armor, and all the dirty little
secrets that she keeps hidden
underneath it. I listened to the
STAR WARS: Mad Max: Fury Road soundtrack
PHASMA while writing Phasma, if that tells
you anything.

but of course we also see her
in the First Order. If you want
to know how she got out of that
trash compactor that Finn tossed
her into, you’ll have to read the
Captain Phasma comic miniseries
from Marvel, written by Kelly
Thompson with art by Marco
Checcheto. Kelly and I talked
to make sure that our stories
were complementary.
What were your fi rst impressions
of Phasma when you saw The
Force Awakens?
Impressive, powerful, confi dent,
strong. Discovering that there was
