CAPTAIN
REX
(SERIAL NO.: CT-7567)
• 501st Legion
One of the most heroic
stories to come out of the
war was that of Captain Rex,
the clone trooper assigned
to Anakin Skywalker and
Ahsoka Tano. From nearly
the beginning of his career,
Rex served with the 501st
Legion, which would later
become infamous as Darth
Vader’s personal enforcers.
He was a staunch believer
in the chain of command,
originally introduced by the
Jedi generals, even when it
caused harm to his fellow
clones. While at fi rst Rex
was one of the more serious
and regimented clones,
he loosened up as the war
went on and he experienced
the uncertainties of war.
Throughout, Rex held fast
to the idea that “experience
outranks everything,” trusting
in the training he received as
part of the Republic Army. He
showed his abilities in battle
on such far-flung planets as
Ryloth, Orto Plutonia, and
Christophsis, the latter of
which saw one of the opening
salvos of the Clone War.
Rex had a close connection
to Padawan Ahsoka Tano
after she fought beside him
at the Battle of Christophsis.
During Order 66, Rex was
spared the crisis of having to

assassinate his Jedi general; he
discovered the control chip
that would have turned him
against the Jedi and removed
it. Forced to flee from the
Galactic Empire, Ahsoka and
Rex both went into hiding.
Their partnership would
re-enter Rex’s life in dramatic
fashion many years later.
Ahsoka connected him with
the rebel cell led by Twi’lek
revolutionary Hera Syndulla,
which also led Rex to a near
confrontation with the Jedi
Kanan Jarrus. The specter
of Order 66 dredged up bad
memories for both men,
especially since Kanan had
personally been hunted by
clone troopers when he was a
child. Eventually, Rex and the
other clone survivors he was
allied with convinced Kanan
that they held no love for the
Empire.
During his operations for
the Rebellion, Rex continued
to show the leadership skills
he had first learned in the
Republic Army. He oversaw
the operation of Chopper Base,
a rebel stronghold on planet
Atollon, until its destruction,
and then spent several years
working with rebel leaders,
lending them his expertise in
the fight against the state that
had created him.
COMMANDER
CODY
(SERIAL NO.: CC-2224)
• 7th sky corps
Just as Captain Rex served with
a legendary Jedi Knight on the
frontlines of the Clone War, so too did
Commander Cody. He experienced
first-hand some of the most important
events of the fall of the Republic in
his role as leader of the clone troopers
working with Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Cody is best known as the clone
who attempted to kill Kenobi on
Utapau, who benefitted from some
lucky timing—Order 66 was enacted
shortly after Cody handed the Jedi his
dropped lightsaber.

of the most well-respected clone

Cody commanded the 7th Sky
Corps and its smaller division, the
212th Attack Battalion. Unlike Rex,
Cody didn’t escape the brainwashing
of Order 66. As much as the Jedi were
victims of Palpatine’s machinations,
the clones were too. Cody turned
against his Jedi general, but his failure
to kill Kenobi proved a great boon to
the galaxy; Obi-Wan lived to change
the course of the Galactic Civil War.
