                       shady Passeig del Rei,

                     in the early 16th century.

                                              A small, shingly beach and a good
                                             fish restaurant are the main reasons
                                               to follow the winding road from
                                              Valldemossa to this pretty hamlet.
                                              It offers peace and idyllic scenery,
                                                and is visited by only a handful
                                                       of holidaymakers.
