          MOVE OF THE MONTH






         FORTIFY YOUR SPINE
         Behold, the perfect move—Half Lord of the Fishes—to
         combat your sitting woes! It stretches and strengthens
         your spine and opens up your shoulders and chest.




          1  Begin seated, back straight,
             arms resting on the floor directly
             behind your hips, with both legs
             extended in front of you.

          2  Bend your left knee and
             cross it over your right leg so
             your foot is on the outside of
             your right leg. Bend your
             right leg in so your foot rests
             against your butt.

          3  Inhale as you lift your right
             arm high above your head,
             then exhale as you twist
             your torso; bring your arm
             down and bend it at the
             elbow so it rests outside
             your left thigh.
