FISH AND SOLAR POWER
As the use of electric lights and other electrical appliances
has spread around the world, so has the hunger for energy.
Opened in 2017, this giant solar power plant in Zhejiang
Province, China, has been built above a fish farm to save
space and to provide two sources of revenue —from the fish
and from the energy generated by the solar panels. Covering
about 1.15 sq miles (2.99 sq km), the plant generates enough
energy each year to power 100,000 homes. AT HOME
