I. Mga Pagbati (Greetings)
Study the situation given. Assume the identity of the person saying the dialogue.
How would you greet the other person? Please use the honorific word “po” when
necessary.

A. It is 9 A. M. You meet your teacher.

B. It is 7 P.M. You meet a friend.

II. Pagbati sa Loob ng Silid-aralan (Greetings in the Classroom)
For classroom learners, follow the instructions below to practice greetings.

The teacher shouts the time (in English). Students greet each other using
“Magandang umaga” or “Magandang hapon” depending on the time; students
can do this while going around the classroom. Students can also introduce
themselves.

In the middle of the activity, try using the terms Binibini, Ginang, or Ginoo.

form, so pretend that you are with a fictitious friend/classmate/colleague. Make
