The game becomes more challenging when a student has to speak to two people
             on both sides.


                   Dagdag-Aral (Additional Study)


              Practice using the plural form for nouns and demonstrative pronouns, and using the
              linker “at.”


              1. Maramihan (Plural Form)
                 To make nouns and demonstrative pronouns plural, add the word mga.

                    Mga lapis ito.                               These are pens.
                    Mga libro ito.                               These are books.





                TANONG (Question)                 : Ano ang mga ito? What are these?
                SAGOT (Answer)                    : These are pens.


              2. Using the linker or conjunction “at” (and)
                 To link two nouns, use the linker at.
                    Lapis at papel ang mga ito.                  These are a pencil and paper.

                    Ballpen at libro iyan.                       Those are a pen and a book.
                    Silya at mesa ang mga iyon.                  Those are a chair and a table. (farther
                                                                 away)




                        Pagsasanay sa Pagtatanong at Pagsagot (Question and

            Answer Practice)


              Both  classroom  students  and  independent  learners  should  practice  asking  and
              answering questions. Make sure you practice these questions and answers by both
              speaking and writing.


                1. TANONG          : Mga libro ba ito?
                                     Are these books?

                   SAGOT           : Oo, mga libro ito.
                                     Yes, these are books.
