The Bloodhound in all but size!
                                                                                                     The short legs of the Basset Hound result from
                                                                                                     a genetic condition that also causes limb
                                                                                                     distortion, typically producing a cabriolelike
                                                                                                     shape. Slower than its larger cousins, but
                                                                                                     nonetheless effective at following a scent, it
                                                                                                     can be easily followed by hunters on foot.
