As I sat at the bar, I
kept one eye on the
door, looking for my
date. I was nervous.
At 28, I was going
on my first-ever
date with a woman,
and all I thought was,
what if she knows I’m
new to this? What if
I’m not… gay enough?
I questioned myself as I
fall somewhere between
heterosexual and bisexual,
and I find that my sexual
interest fluctuates based
on the specific situation
or person I’m with. But
I’m certainly not the only
one who feels this way.
