Armed with its enormous nose horn and magnificent
HEAD-TO-HEAD spiky frill, Styracosaurus would have been an impressive
sight. The size and weight of a rhinoceros, it roamed the forests of North America about
75–74 million years ago, feeding on low-growing plants. Its large frill covered the back of
its neck, while six long spikes flared out from the frill.
