Gasosaurus
The jaws were
full of curved,
serrated, bladelike
teeth that could Gojirasaurus
slice through scaly
skin and meat.
All theropods walked on
their powerful hind legs,

Monolophosaurus Monolophosaurus
had a distinctive
bumpy crest.
Typical theropods had
three-fingered hands,
armed with strong claws
for gripping prey.
Coelophysis Gojirasaurus
evolved into slender, agile hunters like ago, there were many big, powerful theropods,
Coelophysis, one of the most successful including Cryolophosaurus and the horse-sized
early theropods, and its close relative, the bigger Dubreuillosaurus. This period also saw
Liliensternus. Meanwhile, much more powerful the evolution of the first giant hunters, but the
hunters were evolving, and by the early to famous, far more heavily armed tyrannosaurs
middle Jurassic Period, 200–165 million years did not appear until much later. 105
