A PRINCE IS BORN
Prince Charles and Princess Diana with their first son William,
pictured in their home at Kensington Palace. This happy
family scene soon became a rarity, as their marriage was
plagued with scandal and accusations of infidelity. The
couple divorced in 1996, and Diana died in a car
crash a year later. Prince William remains second
in line to the throne, while his own son
Prince George is third.
