• All ages, sexes and breeds could be infected
• New-borns from 6 weeks to 6 months of age
• Rottweilers, Doberman pinschers, Labrador retrievers, American
Staffordshire terriers, German shepherds, and Alaskan sled dogs are more
susceptible
