Aarna Galhotra

Aarna Galhotra is a 17 year old, class 12th humanities student of
Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh. Apart from distinguishing herself
through a phenomenal academic record, she pursues literary activities
with utmost proficiency. She has been composing poems in both
English and Hindi for the past seven years and now has a magnificent
collection of about
60 poems. These lyrics are the insignia of intellectual awakening, a
deeper level of thinking and a wonderful panorama of life. These
intense and profound poems are the products of her intrapersonal
intelligence and experiences of self- transcendence. With her only
passion being getting lost In the wonderland of words, she composes
verses right from her soul, they are cathartic accounts of her spirit's
love, sorrow and agony. Writing is her refuge, the paper her tongue
and the ink her vocal chords. An ardent and voracious learner, this
young poetess presents before you two eloquent pieces of her (he)art
'Yesterday' and 'My Bare Feet'.
