With What Name Should I Call You?
With what name should I call you?
Should I call you Heaven or call you hell?
Should I call you pain or call you peace?
Should I call you destruction or call you danseuse?
Man who has been ambitious and arrogant,
Sins have been multiplied and measureless,
Truth has been mutilated and meaningless,
Proud of his falsified strength
Feelings of superiority supersede
Arguments of every level intensified and attacking
Jealous and hatred find comfortable stay in every heart,
Love and intimacy are at receiving end.
Mother Earth is suffering from excruciating pains
The Moon is shivering and dwindling in his shallow cavern
The Sun is burning, spewing heat on to the Earth
O, invisible merciless, with what name should I call you?
What Is Nature's Plan?
What's your plan, Nature?
Forests are in flames, Rivers in spate,
Deserts are scorching, Winds spew only ashes,
Life is in doldrums, Now, what curse have you brought,
Onto the whole humanity? Everyone is scared,
Roads are empty, Streets are barren,
Factories are closed, Trains look tiresome,
Planes look pacified, with folded wings and closed platforms,
Death is playing havoc, disease is dancing at every doorstep,
What goes wrong? Tell me what's your plan?
Man is avoiding man, with palsied dreams and divided aims
Meetings have turned into partings,
Hugging and hand shaking have changed into dreary distancing,
Celebrations have turned into empty desires,
Everything gets scattered and scanty,
Alas, no one to sprite around,
Innumerable die fighting the losing battle
With the deadly virus having such a graceful name.
Tell me, Nature, what's your plan?
