Hema V. Thakur is born in a small village 'Undirkhed' in Jalgaon
District, and brought-up in Bhusawal city in Maharashtra state of
India, by her parents.
Since her tender age she was always keen about creativity and art,
though never taught by any professional. She was married at the young
age to Mr. Vijaykumar Thakur. It was during this time she started
getting back to developing her interest towards art and creativity and
turned it into a hobby. But always kept it hidden from the world, as she
was scared to be herself. It took her a very long time to understand
herself. She first believed in herself and then spoke to her husband and
kids about her art and her dream. With the help of her family she then
started a New Chapter of her life. Here she found herself in the art and
her art depicts the power of a Woman and also shows love, freedom and
a belief to trust oneself. Hema's first international exhibition was held

the Solo artists Hema was chosen amongst the 7 Artists with Unique
Art. Hema has exhibited her work in Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Baroda,
Goa and Nashik in India and Abroad in New York and Italy. She is
growing day by day, with the help and support of her family. And that's
exactly what she is depicting in her Paintings. Hema's Art is a Fusion
style of a Tribal art of Maharashtra, Warli Art. So what she does is a
