will forgive me. On another matter; my Brood Sister needs two promoters to get her into the
Academy Military Excursion Survey of The Sonoran Trust. One candidate has already come forward,
you remember Ludic? He’s one, but finding a second in a related field is proving difficult…”

“Stop right there! I can’t as I’m also sponsoring another cadet; however I think I know of someone
else… Dramon Felix, he’s current head of a Patrol Legion in the region he might promote her. What
are her speciality fields?”

“She’s qualified in Bio-Mechanics, Nano-Neurosurgery, Gene therapy and Exobiology! And she has a
minor degree from the Thule Astrophysics Department of Stellar Cartography” she said

“That’s an impressive list. A lot of the former Dark Empire is relatively uncharted. Her Stellar
Cartography could prove useful on its own. I’ll forward her details on to Dramon. I would have
thought you would object to a Military Expedition?”

“I have no choice in the matter, she is a very stubborn young woman and driven by her urges. Her
parents helped me through a difficult transition period so I owe them. Her name is G’Nar Tuulk…”

“General Tuulk’s daughter!” Marcus coughed and spluttered “I think I need a stronger drink.
Barman; Neat Sylan Mescal no ice! R’Pak you really know how to shock a man!”

I’m Blue…

The Greys that had survived were using gestures to show the
technicians how to control the Sphere’s thrusters, but the controls were
proving difficult for human hands so control was returned to the ships
computer. One discovery that was made while exploring the Sphere’s
engineering section was another Stasis chamber with another alien inside.
Looking like a smaller version of the Grey’s this alien was Blue in colour. It
also breathed a different mix of Methane and other gasses, as prevalent
in the chamber. The Greys seemed to despise it and would not even
comment on it. Isaac and the others would have to find out more when
the Sphere returned to the moon’s surface.
Brian, the Sphere’s Computer would only say that the two species were
“related” and left it at that.
From examinations of the remains of the other Grey’s it was becoming apparent that they were
clones, genetically very similar to the species that had caused such a problem at Roswell. The Blue
alien on the other hand had a specific gender and was obviously one of a “pair”. Since the sex organs
were not visible, the Grey’s being neutral in gender; its sex would have to remain a mystery until it
could be revived. In the meantime, the Techs were taking readings while the ship rode out the solar
storm.

Galena and the others were literally in the dark regarding all this as the power grid tripped
out when the storm hit the base’s generator bank. The emergency lighting took a few moments to
cut in but emergency power also meant no coms until the storm passed. Besides, what coms there
would have been would most certainly have been swamped with static. So they busied themselves
getting equipment ready and testing the headbands.

“I think I can adapt the Resivistor to interface with Mechanoid A.I. circuitry. To adapt it to a Human
