UNIT II BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT 9
Business Environment - Role of Family and Society - Entrepreneurship Development Training and Other
Support Organisational Services - Central and State Government Industrial Policies and Regulations -
International Business.
UNIT III CREATIVITY AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP 9
Creativity and Innovation: Exercises, Idea generation , Customer requirements, Product design and
development, Company registration, Intellectual Property Rights, Copyrights, Test marketing, Product
launch, Scale-Up, commercialization and Funding-venture capitalist, Seed funding agencies, Angel investors
and MSME.
UNIT IV BUSINESS PLANNING PROCESS 9
Business Planning Process: Meaning of business plan and advantages, Marketing plan,
Production/Operations plan, Organization plan, Financial plan, Feasibility study, Project report, Model
project report for starting a new venture.
UNIT V SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP 9
Social Entrepreneurship: Social enterprise-need, types, characteristics and benefits of social enterprises-
Social entrepreneurship, Rural entrepreneurship-need and problems of rural entrepreneurship, challenges and
opportunities-Role of government.
