OBJECTIVES:
• To understand the characteristics and analyze the frequency response of CE, CB, CC and CS
amplifiers
• To study the transfer characteristics of differential amplifier
• To perform PSPICE simulation of electronic circuits
• To introduce the basics of digital experiments like converters, adder/ subtractor, and encoder/decoder
• To design and implementation of counters and shift register using flip-flops
LIST OF ANALOG EXPERIMENTS:
1. Frequency Response of CE / CB / CC amplifier
2. Frequency response of CS amplifiers
3. Darlington amplifier
4. Differential amplifier- Transfer characteristics / CMRR measurement
5. Cascade / Cascode amplifier
6. PSPICE Simulation of Common Emitter and Common Source amplifiers
LIST OF DIGITAL EXPERIMENTS:
7. Design and implementation of code converters using logic gates
8. Design and implementation of BCD adder using IC 7483
9. Design and implementation of Multiplexer and De-multiplexer using logic gates
10. Design and implementation of Synchronous and Asynchronous counters
11. Implementation of SISO, SIPO, PISO and PIPO shift registers using flip- flops
12. Realization of digital circuits using Verilog HDL
Mini Project

OUTCOMES:
Upon Completion of the course, the students will be able to:
• Design and analyse CE, CB, CC and CS amplifier
• Differentiate Cascade and Cascode amplifier
• Measure CMRR in differential amplifier
• Simulate amplifiers using PSPICE
• Design and implementation of combinational and sequential circuits
