s a second year student you
usually feel more comfortable
on campus. You have gotten
JL -A» your bearings and college feels
like the right place for you to be. The
hardships of adjustment during the
freshman year are over.
The most difficult test many
sophomores experience is the four hour mwm
CLAST exam. The state requires the test
' :
for every student approaching their V:'- ■'
sixieth semester hour. For many this is
not an easy task, and they will have to
retake it the next semester — and
sometimes — again and again. The math
section is a real killer.
Another responsibility is choosing a
major. At this point in their college
experience, sophomores have taken a
wide variety of subjects. With these
classes behind them, they should be able - 1 TJ
to decide what they would like to do with
the rest of their lives.
