DANIEL ALLEN BLUESTEIN
Chess Club, III, IV, V, President, VI; Oceanography Club, IV; Soccer, III,

What most amazes everyone about Dan is his astounding capac
ity for gathering and retaining facts, facts which, like a computer,
he stores until class time or an exam, when they pour forth, a
veritable deluge swamping everyone and everything in sight. This
ability for dealing with the factual has given him a consistently
high class rank, and has made him a superior student in the sci
ences. Dan has not shone athletically; his strength reveals itself in
other extracurricular areas. As president he has been instrumental
in invigorating both the Chess Club and the United Nations
Club. When he is not planning for his career in medicine, Dan can
often be found poring over chessmen. In fact, "Blue" is so fierce
a competitor that he won the Chess Prize as a sophomore.

                                                                        BENJAMIN ASHBY BOSHER, JR.

What was that blue streak that just passed us by? Oh, that was
Ben Bosher aboard his supercharged Vespa. Ben, a newcomer tp
the class, quickly managed to distinguish himself through his
thought-provoking answers in history class. One of Herr Pratt's
erstwhile rink rats, Benjamin, as someone used to call him, was
accepted by everyone in the class. It came as a surprise to many
of us that this mild-mannered boy from Maryland was, in fact,
an accomplished white-water canoer. It is also rumored that he
is something of a lacrosse player, although his abilities with a
racquet may not match those with a shovel. Ben's winning smile,
his paper-bag lunches, not to mention his studly Vespa, will long
                                                        be remembered by us all.

Athletic Association, V, Secretary, VI; Basketball, Letter, IV; Broadcasting

Tommy Burnett has proved himself to be one of the senior class's
athletes "par excellence". In his first year at M.B., as a sopho
more, he starred in football, basketball, and spring track. The next
year Doc managed to talk "Sonny" into running the 1000: he
promptly broke the school record. His true versatility came into
view, though, when he left the football team one afternoon to
run with the cross country boys, and beat the entire team at St.
George's. "Junior" won't be remembered just as an athlete,
though. As a member of Doc's F period Spanish class, his place
in history is assured. Despite being a star athlete, Tommy is one
of the best liked guys in the class.
