THOMAS MOFFETT FERGUSON
Alliance Francaise, III, IV, V, VI; Class Secretary, III; Class Treasurer, IV; Class
Vice-President, VI; Delphian, Assistant Editor, VI; French Club, III, IV, V, VI;
Mosaic, Associate Editor, VI; Oceanography Club, V; Quaker, V, VI; Soccer,

Letter, V. VI; Spring Track, III, IV, Letter, V, VI.
Other than that he is a class-officer, soccer co-captain, track
standout, fourth-ranking senior, and summer mountaineer, there
isn't much to say about "Ferg." But don't ask him to verify these
facts, for he would try to find a way to deny them. The boarders'
claim that Tom has been doing half his corridor's homework and
pushing several students through physics is probably an exaggera
tion, but it is certainly within his capabilities. As long as Ferg
doesn't give his fellow students an inferiority complex, his rare I
ability to combine academic and athletic ability with modesty and
I
eguanimity will take him far in college.
G EO RG E TILDEN FISK, JR. i
Baseball, IV, Letter, V, VI; Basketball, III, IV, Letter V, Captain, VI; Cross
Country, Letter, VI.
As the third member of the triumvirate of Moretti, Lloyd and
Fisk, George has established himself as a genuine nice guy, bent
on enjoying life to the fullest. Since George first arrived at Moses
Brown, midway through the eighth grade, he has been distinguish
ing himself on the playing fields. Even the most casual observer can
pick out "Ooze' on the basketball court; his soft, carefully
launched, gently arching jump shot is a thing of beauty. After
two years' apprenticeship on the JVs, George emerged in his
junior year as a round ball letterman, and was elected captain this
past year. George has also shone on the baseball diamond, where
he shuttled between the pitcher's mound and second base. When
"Ooze" steers his VW out of the parking lot for the last time, we
are sure it will be headed down the road to success.
PETER TEN EYCK GEBHARD, III
Flying Club, V; Football, III, Letter, IV, V, VI; Hockey, Manager, VI; Sailing
Club, V, Commodore, VI; Lacrosse, III; Radio Club, V; Swimming, III;
Winter Track, IV, V; Spring Track, III, IV, V; Outing Club, VI.
One of the most "outstanding" members of the class of 1967
is Pete Gebhard. Aside from being one of the biggest smiles.
In fact, Pete never does anything but smile. Pete's good humor is
supposedly due to his great wealth, for rumor has it that he owns
the only dog ever to win the Kentucky Derby. Athletically, Pete
has displayed his greatness on Coach Zeoli's football team as a
three year letter-winner centering offensive and defensive lines.
And as Commodore and founder of the M.B. Sailing Club, Pete
led his team to an exciting if not successful season last year. With
his easy going nature and constant cheerfulness, we're sure that
Pete will have smooth sailing wherever he goes.
