Some people, think that whatever Charlie says they must divide
in half and only believe a quarter of what's left; while this might be
true, they would be missing the glory of his conversational ability
and the humor of all his "bull." No one really understood why
Charlie carried all his books to every class this year, but he did
look studious. "Gilbert" was business manager of the Delphian
and Proscenium Club and managed the soliciting expertly. As
programme chairman of the French Club, only Charlie could have
dreamed up those fast discotheque dances to raise money.
Charlie's light conversation and loud oud (or could it be lewd
oud?) have made him popular during his years at M.B. and will
doubtlessly continue to do so— especially if people believe every
                                                       thing he says.

Alliance Francaise, III, IV, V, VI; Basketball, III; Delphian, V. VI; French Club,

Alan Handwerger is the idol of the teeny boppers. Extravagant
hairdo, electric guitar, boots, suede sports jacket, and Jody—
these all belong to Alan. The zenith of Alan's career as an idol
was at the Driftwood— the night he lost his M .G. It has even been
rumored that Alan was the phantom captain of the football team.
Everyone knew that Alan was Jerry's secret weapon. As a senior,
Alan surprised his classmates and himself with his latent scholastic
ability. After class-ranks were compiled, it took four days to con

out no matter what he does in the future.
