Over, It’s Time To

Forget About Work

TIME TO PLAY

tudents relieve the tension they get

from their studies through various

physical activities. Rollerblading,

hockey, ping-pong, basketball, and

volleyball (which can now be

played either inside or on the new

sand court) are just a few of the

many exciting activities that stu­

dents can enjoy on campus.

There is a high popularity in the

participation in rollerblading and

rollerhockey. The refinished out­

side court is more often used for

intense rollerhockey than basket­

ball or tennis. No one knows ex­

actly why these sports have expe­

rienced such an explosive growth.

Some credit it to not having to

compete with those who are ob­

viously much more skilled then

they. Others say it's because of the

vigorous workout that they receive

while blading. Also, being able to

"hang out” with friends while blad­

ing is another good reason. But

according to "first-timer” Danelle

Yoder, "It's a new and exciting

thing to do!”
