leaders greeted them, handed out I

ed freshmen to their rooms. During
Chuck registration, students who were not
pre-registered met with advisors,
while others registered cars and
had ID pictures taken. Later, the
bookstore opened and long lines
formed as students began to buy
textbooks. The registrar's office
was full as pre-registered students
waited to drop and add classes,
and the business office was kept
busy with students making their
first payment.
Convocation marked the official
opening of the year. The ensembles
