Kurt Snyder works the defense to see if he

can find an opening to score. Kurt and Eric

Wheatley led the team offensively. Since

many of the post-season games were very

close, every point was extremely crucial.

F reshman Jeremiah Smith heads a ball down-

field and out of scoring position for the other

team. The defense was a powerful tool by not

allowing many shots to be taken at the Cou­

gar’s goal. This proved to be extremely im­

portant during the first round of nationals.
