Be merciful after thy power; if thou hast much, give

To draw out thy soul to the needy, to deal thy bread
to the hungry, and satisfy the aHlictcd soul.

Blessed is he that considered) the poor; the Lord will
deliver him in the time ol trouble;
The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive;

The School at present consists of one hundred uholars, viz. Seventy Boys and thirty Girls, who are
instructed in the principles of the Christian Religion and Psalmody: they constantly attend Divine
Service at Church on week days as well as on Sundays, and Inc greatest attention is paid to their nioia/s.
The Boys are taught reading, writing, arithmetic, airl merchants' accounts, the Gnls reading
writing, arith me tic, and needlework. They are annualty lathed supplied
with books, paper, Xc. IV Ph a view to extend the us-tulnev ot this benevolent Institution, the t rus
tees have lately taken sir Bogs and sic Girls into the house, who are placed under the immediate di
rection ot the Master and M-stress ot the School, and are provided with lodging and boa id and they

The School is frequently visited, and the Children carefully examined, by a Committee oj the Trus
tees. II hen any o l the Scholars arc of a proper age far dismission, and duly qualified, they are placed
at suitable trades, or services, and others taken m their places.
This excellent Institution is earnestly recommended to the patronage of th, humane and benevolent.
